Samba Dance Class Series
Find healing release, honor your body, and discover new parts of your dancing self in this Samba experience. Drawing inspiration and energy from Brasilian cultural archetypes like the Malandro and the Orixá, we will dance from the “souls” of our feet to the “crowns” of our heads. We will dance in rhythm as we plant our feet, grounding our lower bodies to set our upper limbs free. We will explore Samba basics and footwork, with both male and female styling, and investigate the depth of the Samba tradition in its wholeness.
